Privacy Policy

Overview
Camp-Ade ("the App") is developed and operated by Northern Grit Digital Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
Camp-Ade is designed to work entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. All data stays on your device.
Information We Access
The App requests access to the following device capabilities:
Location (GPS)
Why: Your precise location is used to calculate accurate golden hour / blue hour times and to render the correct night sky for your campsite in the Star Map feature.
How it's stored: Location data is used in real time for calculations only. It is not stored beyond your current session and is never transmitted off your device.
Camera
Why: The camera is used by the Star Map feature to display a live camera feed with an augmented reality constellation overlay, and to take photos for your campsite notebook entries.
How it's stored: The live camera feed is never saved or transmitted. Photos you choose to attach to notebook entries are saved locally on your device only.
Photo Library
Why: You may choose to attach existing photos from your device's photo library to notebook entries.
How it's stored: Selected photos are saved locally in the App's on-device database only. They are never uploaded or shared.
Data Storage
All App data — including gear checklists, meal plans, trip notes, and notebook photos — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device. We have no access to this data.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
Third-Party Services
Camp-Ade does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share any information with third parties.
The App is distributed via the Google Play Store. Google's own privacy practices apply to the download and installation process. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Children's Privacy
Camp-Ade does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because all data remains on-device and nothing is transmitted to us, the App does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age.
Your Rights
Because Camp-Ade does not collect or store your data on any server, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. All data is under your direct control on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
